SuiHub Lagos: The Linq Experience

About this event

Crypto in Nigeria has a problem most of us know well. We can hold stablecoins, but spending them in the real world is still hard. This October, SuiHub Lagos is bringing the community together to meet the people working on it. Daniel, Emmanuel and Favour, co-founders of Linq, will share openly how they built a set of products that let everyday Nigerians spend crypto, and how businesses can accept it. Come to listen, try the products live, ask questions, and meet other builders, merchants and crypto users in Lagos. What We'll Cover The Linq app: spending stablecoins, cashing out to naira in real time, and paying for airtime, data and electricity straight from crypto The Linq Telegram bot: how someone with no wallet gets a unique address that forwards crypto to their bank account automatically. You'll get to try it live. What the team has learned about helping everyday Nigerians trust and use crypto products Linqswitch: how a business accepts stablecoin payments with a simple QR code and settles in naira, with no Linq account needed on the customer's side Why Linq focused on merchant acceptance, and what it means for crypto in shops, restaurants and online stores How developers and businesses can integrate Linq's APIs, in-store or at online checkout Why Linq built on Sui, and a look at the architecture behind it Live demo, plus open Q&A with builders and merchants Who Should Come Sui builders who want to see what real-world crypto payments look like in Nigeria Merchants and business owners curious about accepting stablecoins Everyday crypto users who want to actually spend what they hold Anyone in the community who wants to meet the team and the people building alongside them Interested in networking with the Sui Community No technical background needed. Bring your questions and your curiosity. Join us at SuiHub to learn, connect, and see what's possible when the community builds together.
